We are so excited about a new way for Jesus-loving women in our community to partner with us as a S.O.S., Sisters of Stillwaters. There are many needs that arise for the women in our houses and having volunteers on stand-by will help us to meet these needs more efficiently! Here are just a few of the ways you can become a S.O.S.!

Financial Sister

More often than not, it takes the women who move into our homes several weeks to get settled and begin earning an income. We offer grace to these women as they are getting adjusted! To be able to do this we rely on financial support of churches and individuals.

"BIG" Sister

We would love to provide each of the women in our homes a mentor! The role of a mentor would be to intentionally invest in and disciple their "little" sister! This could be coffee once a week, going through a bible study together, or anything that is consistent and relational.

Transportation Sister

Many of the women in our homes do not have their own transportation. This is a big need! A transportation sister would be willing to take someone to church, grocery shopping, work, or even a DCFS visit or court date.

If you would like to partner with us and show the love of Jesus in a tangible way, please fill out our "Sisters of Stillwaters Volunteer" Google-Docs Form and send it back to us.

"As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 4: 10-11. NKJV
